Get those fingers ready – Amazon Prime Day is coming! I am so excited! Amazon Prime Day is like the anniversary of our Instant Pots. I had been researching the Instant Pot, followed groups and people who I knew who had them, and then finally the magical day came. Amazon Prime Day. The price could not be beat so I took the plunge for not only me, but also for Melissa (who could resist such a great deal and taking care of an early gift??).

What is Amazon Prime Day?

It’s a magical day for Amazon Prime members. Amazon Prime Day is a one day event where tons upon tons of things drop in price, and those prices are only valid for – you guessed it – Amazon Prime members. This is the third year for the shopping event. Items in all categories go on sale throughout the day – sometimes in limited quantities. Last year I was one of 215,000 people who purchased the 6-quart 7-in-1 IP-DUO60 Instant Pot (it was the number one seller in the United States!) for $69.99 plus tax (normally $119), which left some room in my Instant Pot budget for some accessories. I remember browsing and browsing and browsing – sometimes it’s just fun to “window” shop too!

When is Amazon Prime Day 2017?

Get those calendars out – Amazon Prime Day 2017 is on July 11th – just two days after my birthday! Yahoo!

I do not have those details as of yet, but we are all crossing our fingers and will post if they do! They make GREAT gifts, and will take the stress off of holiday shopping! 🙂 I’ve got my eyes on an 8-quart 7-in-1 IP-DUO80 Instant Pot, or a 6-quart 9-in1 DUO Plus (newest Instant Pot!) or a ceramic nonstick pot insert (I have 2 of the stainless steel inserts and I’ve always got them in use!!!) – not that I’m asking for much 😉
