Hi everyone! Danielle here! If you’re following us on Facebook, you know that Melissa and I have taken a bit of a break. Our schedules and priorities have had to shift, and the blog has been one of the first things to head to the back burner. We are still cooking with our pots, we’re glad you’re here, and we’re ready for Amazon Prime Day 2018!
Amazon Prime Day 2018
If you’re new to Prime Day, here’s the summary. It’s a (now) yearly event that Amazon puts on where tons upon tons of items are discounted - usually including the Instant Pot!!! Melissa and I both got our Instant Pots with the Prime Day sale in 2016, and we’ve been helping people score deals since! 🙂
You need to be an Amazon Prime member to get the deals. If you’re not a Prime member, head here to get a free 30 day trial. After that, you can choose to be billed monthly or yearly, or discontinue the service if if wasn’t for you. I stream free music using Prime Music, watch free movies and TV on Prime Video, and I back up all of my photos using Prime Photos. Don’t forget the free 2 day shipping on most items (if it doesn’t ship Prime, I usually don’t buy it, haha!)
Let’s get to some Instant Pot deals!
Prime Day begins at 3:00 pm EST
This post also contains Sisters Under Pressure Amazon affiliate links 🙂

Our Favorite Accessories (see more here!)
*6-quart Stainless Steel Insert – This is the next best thing to having an additional pot! We like to cook a main dish, and then we have another pot to whip up a side dish! 🙂
*6-quart Ceramic Insert – I also have this insert. I picked this up to check it out. If you’re a die-hard non-stick kind of person, this will be the insert for you. I honestly prefer the stainless steel one above – it’s easy to clean and I can use any utensil in it.
*Instant Pot 6 quart Clear Silicone Sealing Ring – We both have extra sealing rings! The rings may retain the scent of the food made in them, and we don’t want savory flavor added to sweet dishes 🙂 This is the official Instant Pot sealing ring. There are others out there, but this is the only one that has been tested by Instant Pot to be safe for use. Best to be safe!
*3-quart clear sealing ring
*8-quart clear sealing ring
*Instant Pot 6-quart Red/Blue Sealing Rings - Having different colored sealing rings can come in handy! It’s nice to have one for savory dishes, and one for sweet dishes. With the two colors, there is never a question of which is which!
*3-quart red/blue sealing rings
*8-quart red/blue sealing rings
*Instant Pot 6-quart Lid – There are some recipes that use only the sauté function. To prevent splatter during cooking, a simple lid may be necessary. This is the official Instant Pot lid!
*Instant Pot Silicone Starter Set - The pot can be quite hot after cooking. I love having silicone mits to grab the pot!
*Euro-Cuisine Yogurt Strainer – If you’re planning to make a lot of yogurt, and prefer a thicker style Greek yogurt, this is for you! This is Melissa’s favorite gadget, and she uses it to make amazing yogurt!
Let us know if you’ve found any other amazing deals! Happy shopping! 🙂
